Abuser in Jail For Property Damage Given New Domestic Battery Charge

A man who was arrested in July for property damage has now been charged with domestic battery. 

Tyler Timothy Itzen, 34, was arrested for property damage after reportedly becoming irritated at his girlfriend’s text messages and kicking her car-door window. 

Itzen was eligible for a bond of $2,500 but never posted it. 

The victim came forward recently to report Itzen had previously beaten her and choked her until she couldn’t breathe. The incident was caught on camera. The victim showed pictures of her injuries to law enforcement. 

Itzen was charged with domestic battery and battery by strangulation. His bond has increased by $150,000.
