Alachua Man Arrested for Domestic Battery and Giving False ID

Barry Loren Morrow, 47, was arrested on Saturday and charged with domestic battery and give false identification to a law enforcement officer. 

Morrow and the victim were at a laundromat in Alachua where he reportedly choked her. The incident was witnessed by a third party at the scene.

Morrow reportedly told the Alachua Police Department that his name was “Gary D. Morrow.”

Morrow was also booked for violating pretrial release conditions in his trespassing case.

Morrow’s bond is set at $22,500.
