Alachua Man Arrested for Domestic Battery in High Springs

Shawn Monroe Santerfeit, 32, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with domestic battery. 

A witness called the High Springs Police Department stating Santerfeit shoved the victim and was yelling in her face. 

The victim told police Santerfeit headbutted her in the nose. 

Santerfeit didn’t speak to police after he was arrested. 

Santerfeit’s bond is set at $5,000.
