Alleged New York Rapist Fugitive Arrested in Gainesville
A New York fugitive was arrested in Gainesville yesterday.
Last month Robert Vanlone, 41, was charged with strong-arm rape in Tioga County, New York. Vanlone ran away to Alachua County.
A warrant has been out on Vanlone from the Tioga County Sheriff's Office.
Vanlone has no bond and he may be extradited back to Tioga County. He is currently sitting in the Alachua County Jail.
