Alleged Rapist Arrested After DCF Investigation
Di’Amonta Robinson, 32, was arrested on September 17 and charged with committing sexual battery against a minor over 15 years of age.
The incident report states that Robinson was under investigation by the Department of Children and Families (DCF).
The victim told police her parental guardian allowed Robinson to live with them. Robinson is roughly twice her age. The parental guardian regarded them as “dating.”
The sworn complaint was filed on September 11, and Robinson was arrested about a week later.
According to an October 2022 report by TV20, Robinson drugged and raped a woman using cannabis laced with MDMA. Robinson was released on his own recognizance a month later because the State Attorney's Office didn’t formally file the charges within 40 days. The charges were dropped in January 2023.
Robinson’s address is registered to Grace MarketPlace; however, he has been arrested twice for trespassing at Grace MarketPlace.
Robinson's bond is set at $150,000.
