Alleged Sex Offender Arrested for Violating Conditional Release by Using Cocaine

Johnnie Dion Cloud, 48, was arrested on Tuesday for violating the conditional release of his burglary case.
In 2012, Cloud was charged with property damage, loitering and multiple counts of burglary but was acquitted by reason of insanity.
In 2015, Cloud was charged with sexual battery and was again acquitted by reason of insanity.
On January 21, 2025, Forensic Program Manager of New Life Recovery Services in Jacksonville, Shayla Flanders, reported that Cloud admitted to using cocaine.
Cloud reportedly said he used cocaine because he was “feeling hopeless” and said “if people were accusing him of using it he might as well use it.”
Cloud's first appearance order states he’s been employed at Wendy's for one month.
Cloud is currently being held without bond.
