Archer Man Arrested for Threatening Violence Over Yard Leaves
Quinnell Lavon Thompson, 45, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with threatening violence, battery on specified personnel and resisting an officer without violence.
The victim and a witness both told Alachua County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) Deputy Leo Lowe that Thompson moved towards the victim while threatening to beat her because he was angry about the leaves in her yard.
Lowe reported that Thompson initially walked away when he went to arrest him but complied after threatening a taser. Lowe reported that Thompson made him bleed by elbowing him while in handcuffs. Lowe referenced himself as one of the victims in the arrest report.
Thompson’s bond is set at $55,000.
