Crossings at Santa Fe Apartments Resident Arrested for Domestic Battery

Jordan Maurice Harrison, 21, was arrested Tuesday night and charged with domestic battery. 

According to the arrest report the victim asked to see Harrison’s phone and he threw her to the ground and slapped her. 

Alachua County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) Deputy Isaac Minck responded to the Crossings at Santa Fe Apartments. The victim’s injuries were consistent with her account of the incident.

Harrison reportedly told Minck “I hit her first, and it was wrong,” and said he “pushed” her by the throat. 

Harrison wrote on his first appearance order that he’s worked at McDonalds for three months. 

Harrison was released on recognizance a day after his arrest. 

Harrison appears to be moving to Jacksonville as his recognizance release form states he’ll be given notice of his court dates at a Jacksonville address.
