Press Release from Alachua County chapter of Healthcare Workers for Gaza
Voices from the Frontline: Local Physicians recently returned from a mission to Gaza to host informational session at Headquarters Library. Saturday April 27th 2:30 - 5pm
Three Florida physicians who have just returned from volunteering in Gaza will give their eyewitness report back on the health crisis in Gaza at the Headquarters Library on the fourth floor, meeting Room A (401 E University Ave) from 2:30 - 5pm.
UF Physician Dr. Bashar Alzghoul will report back on the dire circumstances in Gaza alongside Dr. Waleed Sayadahmed and Rana Ahmoud, healthcare workers from Florida who were also on the mission. Event organizers emphasize the unique learning opportunities offered by this event given the difficulties of entering or exiting Gaza.
Media invited to attend.
