Florida Rapper Raw Youngin in ACSO Custody After Vehicular Homicide

Updated August 9 with mugshot photo.

On June 26, Eric Javah Baker, 21, A.K.A Raw Youngin, was driving a gray Infiniti Sedan when he was pulled over for multiple traffic violations at 6:40 pm. The Gainesville Police Department's (GPD’s) press release says they didn’t pursue the vehicle after the driver fled at a high rate of speed.

While speeding away Raw Youngin struck a red Dodge Sedan killing the driver. The crash also injured three passengers in Youngin’s vehicle who were taken to the hospital.

Youngin was arrested shortly after the crash by a GPD K-9 unit and Alachua County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) officers.

ACSO employees originally used a picture from Youngin's social media in place of a mugshot.
