Food Truck Owner Arrested For Domestic Battery

Carlos Sanchez-Perez, 29, was arrested on August 28 and charged with domestic battery.

The arrest report states Sanchez-Perez came home drunk at 2:00 a.m. on August 20 and punched his spouse in the legs in front of their son. After noticing his kid was watching, Sanchez-Perez stopped.  

After his arrest, Sanchez-Perez said that he hit the victim because she said she’d take their kids and leave him. Sanchez-Perez physically demonstrated to police how he hit the victim. 

Sanchez-Perez’s first appearance order states he has been employed as the owner of Raid AL Taco Food Truck for one month. 

Sanchez-Perez has been released on recognizance. His pretrial release conditions include not contacting the victim and living away from her.
