Former UF Health Anesthesiologist Sentenced to Ten Years in Prison for Possessing Child Sexual Abuse Material

Travis Bryant, a UF Health anesthesiologist at the time of his arrest, has been sentenced to ten years in prison followed by sex offender probation. Bryant pleaded no contest and was found guilty on ten counts of possessing obscene material and one count of obscene communication. 

The University of Florida (UF)’s network audit showed Bryant was looking at child sexual abuse material while connected to UF wifi.

Bryant will be required to register as a sex offender when he is released.
