Gainesville Asks for Help After Local Environmental Advocate Goes Missing
Numerous people have posted this photo of Daria Dykes while asking for help in locating her.

Gainesville residents have been asking for help on social media after local environmental activist Daria Dykes has gone missing. 

Florida eco-activist Ryan Worthington reported on Instagram that many “are concerned for [Daria Dykes’] wellbeing right now. She’s a very tenacious environmental advocate and quite active. If you have any idea of her whereabouts please contact the Gainesville Police Department”

Worthington posted a few pictures of Dykes to help people identify her.

Dykes was last seen on December 5 near NW 44 street.

Someone on Facebook reported that there is “viable reason for [Daria Dykes’] friends and family to be extremely worried for her.”

GPD has been notified and a missing person’s report has been filed.
