Malik Ny’Kel Wilson, 27, was arrested last week and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, property damage, and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.

Wilson got into an argument with the victim in her driveway, and he reportedly entered her home and began throwing things around. The victim stayed in the vehicle and was afraid to enter her home because she could hear Wilson breaking things.

Wilson reportedly exited the residence holding a semi-automatic handgun, opened the vehicle door, and told the victim to “get the fuck out of the car.” Wilson didn’t point the gun directly at the victim, but he held it at his side while threatening her.

One of the victim’s friends stepped in between Wilson and the victim to try and defuse the situation. Wilson went back inside the victim’s house and resumed breaking items.

Wilson had been keeping his guns at the victim’s apartment while living with her. Police found another handgun and a rifle in the residence.

Judge Denise Ferrero approved a pretrial detention motion by the State Attorney's Office on Armstrong and he'll be held in jail as his case is ongoing.
