Ryndarius Keiwan Wheeler, 21, was arrested last week and charged with aggravated assault and two counts of battery.

Wheeler is being charged for two incidents of domestic violence.

On December 11, Wheeler reportedly got angry at the victim while she was changing and asked to see her phone. The victim said no, and Wheeler began throwing the victim’s belongings. Wheeler reportedly grabbed the victim by her arm and forced her outside before locking her out of the house. The victim was outside for four hours before leaving for her parents’ residence.

The victim returned the following day. Later in the night, Wheeler reportedly demanded the victim give him the house keys and dragged and choked her.

The victim was able to get away and ran outside. Wheeler followed her and slapped her.

The victim told Wheeler where the key was, and he said, “Imma knock you out if it's not there.”

Wheeler returned with a firearm after not finding the key and reportedly pushed the gun into the victim’s stomach while stating, “Keep playing with me, I’ll disable you.”

The victim ran outside in fear for her life.

The victim was on FaceTime with a witness during the second incident. The witness stated he could only see the victim’s body but could hear Wheeler hitting her.

Wheeler admitted to grabbing the victim by the hoodie but denied pointing a firearm at the victim or striking her.

The victim had visible injuries across her body.

The State Attorney’s Office filed a pretrial detention motion on Wheeler, but it was denied by Judge Phillip Pena.

Pena set Wheeler’s bond at $160,000.
