Marty Terelle Allen, 36, was arrested last week and charged with domestic battery, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and driving with a suspended license.

Allen and the two victims were hanging out outside their apartment complex near Allen’s vehicle. Allen reportedly accused the first victim of infidelity while drunk and punched her in the face several times. The second victim attempted to intervene and Allen reportedly entered his vehicle and accelerated towards her, striking her with the car. The second victim was thrown several feet upon being hit and had to be transported to the hospital.

Police made contact with Allen a short time later at a separate location. Allen initially denied striking the second victim with the vehicle but then acknowledged hitting her as he was leaving the apartment complex. Allen claimed the victim hit him first but had no visible injuries.

Allen’s vehicle had an observable dent near the front bumper.

Allen’s license has been revoked for the past nine years.

Allen also has an open case for criminal mischief. On October 12, 2024, he reportedly broke his ex-girlfriend’s window.

The State Attorney's Office made a motion for pretrial detention on Allen which was granted by Judge David Kreider.
