Kelvin Lee Pritchett, 39, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with aggravated assault.

The arrest report states the victim told Pritchett to leave her home for being rude to her guests. Pritchett and the victim engaged in a verbal altercation, leading to him threatening to kill her while standing at her front door. Pritchett reportedly brandished a firearm in his waistband after making the threat.

One of the victim’s neighbors told police he saw Pritchett “lift his shirt and pull out a firearm from his waistband.”

Pritchett admitted to police that a verbal altercation occurred but denied threatening the victim with a gun.

Pritchett was released after posting a bond of $10,000.

Pritchett has been ordered to not contact the victim, and he legally cannot possess any weapons.
