Gainesville Man Arrested for Hitting Woman in Domestic Incident

Ronnie Laron Williams, 29, was arrested on Thursday and charged with domestic battery. 

Gainesville Police Department (GPD) Officer Daniel Tollefsrud reported that Williams “caught the victim cheating.”

Williams began packing stuff up, some items belonging to the victim. The victim began grabbing her things from the suitcase and Williams allegedly began hitting her arm in an attempt to get her to let go of the suitcase.

The victim had visible injuries on her forearm. Williams denied hitting her to the police. 

Williams’ bond is set at $2,000.
