Shahiem Leron Bush, 20, was arrested on April 3 and charged with two counts of aggravated assault.

Bush reportedly chased one of the victim’s children down the street. The child was considered a “witness” in the case and was not regarded as a victim.

The two adult victims informed police that the child informed them what happened right before they saw Bush running with a pair of scissors.

The child “witness” did not see Bush holding the scissors.

Gainesville Police Department Officer Matthew Murriello reportedly located a pair of scissors near the incident location.

The victims told police that Bush stated he would “kill them all.”

Murriello reported that Bush “stated that he smoked spice earlier in the day.”

Murriello reported that Bush was unable to answer questions and “not acting normal.”

Bush has no bond pending a pretrial detention motion by the State Attorney’s Office.
