Gainesville Man Caught on Video Committing Dating Violence
Eric Gerrard Green was arrested on Tuesday and charged with simple battery (dating violence).
Green and the victim were arguing in the middle of the night outside the Value Lodge Motel. Video surveillance footage showed Green shoving the victim into a vehicle three times.
Green told police the victim was being “aggressive” and was “getting in his face.”
Green wrote on his first appearance that he worked at Leoma Fencing and Remodeling LLC for two years.
Green was released on a $5,000 bond.
