Gainesville Man Claiming to be “Neighborhood Patrol” Arrested for Stalking

Jeremiah Michealel Nelson, 26, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with stalking.

In October 2024, Nelson reportedly went to the victim and witnesses’ shared residence stating he was the “neighborhood patrol” and that he was “checking on them.”

The victim had surveillance footage of Nelson showing up to her residence in October, December and February. 

Nelson was arrested twice in 2023 for similar behavior with a different victim. 

Nelson’s bond is set at $20,000.
