Gainesville Man Released on Bond After Causing Severe Bruising

Macario Bac-Chun, 42, was arrested last week and charged with two counts of domestic battery.

Bac-Chun, a man in his 40s, reportedly battered the college-aged victim. Bac-Chun caused a hematoma in her eye. Bac-Chun reportedly strangled the victim causing her to nearly lose consciousness. The victim managed to fight off Bac-Chun and left the scene. 

Bac-Chun was released on a $42,000 bond.

Bac-Chun has been ordered to not contact the victim and not possess any weapons.
