Gainesville Man Released on Bond in Domestic Battery Case

Raytheon Lamarcus Slater, 43, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with two counts of domestic battery.

During an argument, Slater reportedly pressed his fist into the victim’s face before strangling her. The victim had physical injuries. 

Slater told police he grabbed the victim because she was “wrecking his apartment.”

Slater was released after posting a $55,000 bond. He’s been ordered to not contact the victim or possess any weapons.
