Gainesville Man Released on Recognizance After Domestic Battery Arrest

Noel Arturo Mendez-Gomez, 26, was arrested on Monday and charged with domestic battery.

During an argument, Mendez-Gomez reportedly pushed the victim on a couch and placed his hands around her neck. 

Mendez-Gomez reportedly changed his story several times after he was arrested.

Mendez-Gomez was released on recognizance under the condition he not contact the victim.
