Gainesville Man Violates Restraining Order by Contacting Victim on Tik-Tok
Markenizi Andrew Stokes, 47, was arrested early Sunday morning and charged with violating a domestic violence injunction order and failing to report his change of address.
Stokes attempted to contact the victim making five different Tik-Tok accounts and was blocked every time. Stokes also attempted to call a relative of the victim.
Stokes is classified as a career offender and is required to report his address. He was additionally charged for not living at the address he reported that he resided at.
Stokes was charged with stalking and trespassing via sworn complaint in May. A warrant was never issued but the case is still open.
In 2021, Stokes was arrested for child molestation but the charges were dropped.
Stokes was released after posting a $100,000 bond.
