Footage GPD posted showing a suspect point a gun at a cashier

On October 30, the Gainesville Police Department (GPD) posted footage of an armed robbery at the X-Tra Discount Beverage store in Gainesville.

Three suspects entered the store on October 28 at 10:00 p.m.

One suspect is wearing a black ski mask and a blue jacket with gray sleeves. The other suspect is wearing a green jacket with socks and sandals. A third suspect wore black Adidas pants and a black jacket with the word “polo” on it. The third suspect doesn’t appear in the robbery video but was caught on camera.

The video shows the suspect with the blue jacket pointing a gun at a cashier while taking money from the register. The suspect in the green jacket is looting the front of the counter.

After taking a stack of cash, the suspect in the blue jacket aimed his firearm directly at the cashier, causing him to step back.

As the cashier stepped back, the suspects in the blue jacket and green jacket began exiting the store. As they were about to leave, the suspect in the blue jacket ran back towards the cashier and the suspect in the green jacket followed. The suspect in the blue jacket appeared to tell the cashier something. The video GPD posted has no sound.
