High Springs Man Arrested For Firing Gun Near Ex-Girlfriend’s Dad
Adam Webb, 22, was arrested on Friday and charged with one count of possessing a weapon as a convicted felon and two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill.
Webb’s arrest report states he got into an argument with his girlfriend over his infidelity and she broke up with him. In response, Webb pursued the victim by car from Alachua to High Springs until she reached her father’s house.
The victim’s dad confronted Webb and he reportedly fired a shot into the air while outside of his vehicle. Webb got back in his car and fled the scene. He was arrested shortly after.
Webb was arrested in June 2020 for battering his pregnant girlfriend, but the charges were dropped.
Webb was arrested again in November 2020 and charged with battery, domestic battery, grand theft, and sexual assault, but the charges were dropped.
In April 2021 Webb was found guilty of burglary.
In August 2021 Webb was arrested for firing off shots at Santa Fe Oaks apartments, but the charges were dropped.
Webb’s bond is set at $150,000.
