High Springs Man Arrested for Throwing Fans at Victim and Threatening to Kill Her; Subject to Recognizance Release

Richard Michael Prest-Neumann, 40, was arrested on Friday night and charged with domestic battery. 

The arrest report reads as follows:

“The offender had come home from work and got into an argument with the victim. The offender then grabbed the victim by her arms and pushed the victim. The offender then threw two fans towards the direction of the victim. The [victim] stated that the offender had threatened to kill her. The offender is in violation of FSS 784.03 Domestic Simple Battery for grabbing the victim by the arms and pushing the victim.”

Prest-Neumann has been subject to recognizance release under the condition he not contact the victim or possess any weapons.
