Home of Pastors Tied to Child Sexual Abuse Coverup Hits Market for 975k

Update April 19: The Vega’s home is now listed for $949,500.
Ignite Life Center (ILC) lead pastors Mark and Lisa Vega have listed their High Springs home on Zillow for $975,000.
Furthermore, ILC pastors Nicole and Adolfo Gomez have listed their home in Alachua on Zillow for $429,900.
Both listings are managed by realtor Dada McGlynn.
Three people from ILC have been arrested for committing sex crimes against underage children: (1) convicted child molester Gabriel Hemenez, (2) head pastor Mark Vega’s son, alleged rapist Christian Vargas, and (3) former associate pastor Jose Cruz’s son, Noel Cruz.
A GPD Supplemental Report in Noel Cruz’s case states Mark Vega arranged a private meeting at his house to discuss the victim's report of sexual misconduct by Vargas and Noel Cruz. The meeting included Mark and Lisa Vega, the victim, her father, Jose and Noel Cruz, Vargas, and ILC pastors Esther Omeben and Nick Bruce.

Mark and Lisa Vega’s two-story home was built in 2019 and features four bedrooms and five bathrooms. It includes a theater room, two office rooms with one having a library, and a large living room with a cathedral ceiling, chandelier, and fireplace.
Nicole and Adolfo Gomez’s one-story home was built in 2021 and features three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The home contains an office/library space and a screened-in back porch.
The listings indicate that tours can be scheduled on short notice.
