Homeless Man Arrested for Hitting Woman Who Helped Him Out

Robert Leslie Graf, 50, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with domestic battery and property damage.
Graf and the victim used to be in a relationship but have been separated for months. Graf has been living out of his car, and the victim lets him come over to shower.
When Graf was at the victim’s house on Monday, he accused her of “cheating,” despite them not being in a relationship. Graf reportedly slapped the victim, leaving visible bruises on her face. Graf also snapped the victim’s phone in half.
Gainesville Police Department Officer Rebecca White asked Graf what happened. Graf said, “Nothing happened,” and called the victim derogatory names.
Graf was released after posting a $12,500 bond.
