Man Arrested After Striking Woman with Knife and Fleeing Scene
Tramayne Geron Bradley, 49, was arrested last week and charged with aggravated assault with intent to commit a felony and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
Bradley was cleaning his stuff out of the victim’s residence and got angry because they were no longer in a relationship. Bradley pulled the victim up by her shirt and hit her in the face. Bradley pulled out a knife and poked the victim in her stomach, but the knife didn’t penetrate her skin.
A witness observed Bradley poking the victim with his knife and she yelled, “Do not stab her.”
Bradley walked toward the witness with his knife saying he’d kill her. The witness pulled out her firearm in self-defense of herself and the victim, causing Bradley to flee.
Gainesville Police Department Officer Dantrell Osbourne saw the victim had marks on her face and stomach from Bradley’s attack.
Bradley was arrested a day after the incident.
Bradley’s first appearance order states he’s been employed at Shift Smart for three years.
Bradley’s bond is set at $50,000.
