Gainesville Police Department officers arrested Max Jauregui, 20, Wednesday and charged him with aggravated battery.

Jauregui and the victim were in an argument because he was being mean to his mom, states the arrest report.

The victim entered her mother’s vehicle and Jauregui told her to get out. Jauregui allegedly pulled the victim out of the vehicle by her wrist and hair when she refused to exit, causing her to fall to the ground and scratch her wrist.

Three witnesses corroborated the victim's account.
