Harold Glenn Woods, 27, was arrested Thursday morning and charged with domestic battery after grabbing the shirt collar of his child's mother as she walked away.

Woods said in his police interview that he grabbed the shirt collar to prevent the victim from leaving and “maintained a grip on [the victim’s shirt] collar for three to four seconds [and] then let go.”

A small mark was left on the victim's neck.

Woods was previously released on bond in a 2020 domestic battery case in which he was granted a withheld adjudication. According to an article by CBS 4, Woods tried to choke his girlfriend and only stopped after she defended herself.

Woods was given no bond in this case and released on recognizance.
