Man Arrested for Possessing Sexual Abuse Material
Darren Dakota Davis, 24, was arrested on November 28 on a warrant for one count of using a two way communication device to facilitate a felony, three counts of possessing a video of an animal abuse incident, and 12 counts of possessing obscene material.
Police found Davis was looking at sexually abusive images and videos that involved babies and toddlers.
In total, Davis had 1,527 photos and 250 videos of sexual abuse against children.
Davis also had 27 images and 33 videos of sexual abuse against animals. “These files all contained male and female adults engaged in sex acts with animals. The animals in these files were dogs and a horse or pony,” reported Alachua County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Josh Dawson.
Davis additionally possessed 1,760 images and 209 videos of computer generated child sexual abuse material.
Davis’ bond is set at $800,000.
