Man Arrested For Violating Pretrial Release Conditions in Domestic Battery Case

Ellis Louis Houston, 35, was arrested and charged with violating the pretrial conditions of his domestic battery case.

Houston was initially arrested on October 16, 2023, after his wife reported he hit her in the back shoulder and threatened to kill her. The victim’s kid told police she could hear the physical and verbal abuse.

Houston told police he “[shook the victim] to get her attention.”

Houston was released on a $5,000 bond but arrested again on Tuesday for violating his pretrial release conditions. He is not eligible for bond.
