Robert Lee Johnson, 37, was booked into the Alachua County Jail last week on a St. Johns' County warrant for domestic battery.

St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Truman Berger reported that Johnson accused the victim of cheating before grabbing her by the back of the neck and shoving her to the ground. Johnson reportedly held the victim down while berating her.

Johnson fled the scene before deputies arrived and was charged via warrant affidavit.

Berger reported “The victim had multiple scratches on her arms, a large scratch on her right temple, consistent with the victim’s attempts to get away from the defendant.”
