A man awaiting trial for allegedly committing domestic battery by strangulation has been arrested again for contacting the victim seven times.

On August 30, Vincent Lamar Street’s ex-girlfriend attempted to break up with him, and he reportedly responded by charging at her and strangling her.

The victim stated she lost consciousness but managed to get away and call 911.

The victim said Street had been abusive for a while and recalled a time her teenage son witnessed an incident.

Street was granted a $10,000 bond and released a day after he was arrested.

Street violated his conditions of pretrial release the same day he was bonded out, calling the victim six times and texting her once.

Street told police he was “trying to get his diabetes medicine and was not trying to go over there.”

Street has been charged with seven counts of violating his pretrial release conditions.

Street’s bond has been set at $140,000.
