Man Charged with Domestic Battery After Attacking Partner for Bringing Items Inside Home

Kirk Lynn Smith, 39, was arrested and charged with domestic battery on Sunday. 

The victim told police that her boyfriend Kirk became irate when she brought items inside their home. Kirk grabbed her very tight and tossed her to the ground, got on top of her and head butted her forehead with his forehead.

The victim was able to get away. 

The victim reportedly was visibly upset and bleeding from an abrasion on her left elbow consistent with being thrown to the ground. 

In the past, Smith has been charged for driving while under the influence, driving without a registration, driving while license has been suspended.

His bond amount is listed as $5,000.

Smith is currently waiting for trial now.
