Remi Dean Santos Coniconde, 26, was arrested on Saturday and charged with domestic battery.

The victim stated Coniconde had been drinking and looked through her phone. Coniconde found the victim texting her boyfriend about their relationship.

Coniconde began arguing with the victim, and she tried to leave the apartment.

When the victim tried to leave, Coniconde reportedly grabbed her by her arms and pushed her onto the bed. The victim yelled at Coniconde to stop, and he did.

Coniconde told police he was “upset with the victim because she was texting her ex-boyfriend personal information about their relationship [and] tried to stop the victim from leaving the apartment so they could talk.”

Coniconde was released on a $1,000 bond.

Coniconde is awaiting trial on a Marion County case for possessing fentanyl and driving without a valid license.
