Man Projects Cheating on Partner; Arrested For Domestic Battery; Released on Recognizance

Willie James McKnight, 24, was arrested on Friday and charged with domestic battery. 

Alachua County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) Deputy Eric Morris was called out to the residence and found McKnight in the drive-way.

McKnight said “he did not hit her” and that “he cheated on her because she cheated on him.”

The victim said she saw McKnight get notifications from other women and that he beat her after she confronted him. 

McKnight was released on recognizance. He’s been ordered to not make any contact with the victim.
