Man Shows Officer Proof of Own Guilt in Domestic Violence Incident

Khadim Mbaye Samba, 20, was arrested on Monday and charged with domestic battery. 

After his arrest, Samba showed Gainesville Police Department Detective Ranisha Johnson a video of the incident. 

Johnson reported that the video showed Samba arguing with the victim and motioning as if he was going to strike her before placing his hands on her face. Samba told Johnson he was intending to intimate the victim. 

The victim reported that Samba has a history of violence and slapped her during an argument a week ago. 

Samba wrote on his first appearance order that he’s been employed at UPS for approximately one day. 

Samba’s bond is set at $2,000.
