Man to be Held in Pretrial Detention After Attacking Multiple Women
Darryl Leonard Manning Jr., 38, was arrested last week and charged with aggravated battery.
The incident started when Manning began going through the victim’s phone in their bedroom, and she attempted to get it back. Manning then slapped the victim in the face and pushed her.
The two other victims entered the room and observed Manning push the victim and cock back his fist as if he were about to punch her.
The second victim intervened, and Manning threw her to the ground.
A witness came into the bedroom and began physically defending the victims. During the altercation, Manning threw a television and hit the third victim in her stomach.
The State Attorney’s Office filed a motion of pretrial detention on Manning, which was granted by Judge David Kreider.
