Man With Prior Battery Conviction Arrested for Punching Partner

Weber Ocsius, 36, was arrested on Saturday and charged with domestic battery. 

The victim and Ocsius were in an argument, and she called her brother.  The victim’s brother told police that he heard Oscius hit her over the phone and that the victim confirmed the attack. 

Ocsius denied hitting the victim, but she had bruises on her face.  

Ocsius has a prior conviction in 2019 out of St. Lucie County for battery, where he pleaded no contest and was found guilty and sentenced to five months in prison followed by a year of probation. 

Ocsius has one felony and 23 misdemeanor adjudications.  

Ocsius’ bond is set at $2,500.
