Newberry Man Arrested for Domestic Battery; Released on Bond

Alex Collieon Brown, 52, was arrested early Monday morning and charged with domestic battery. 

The victim told police that Brown battered her two weeks ago during an argument about his cheating, leaving lacerations on her neck.

Sunday night, Brown was caught talking to another woman on the phone. Brown went to the bathroom for a few moments, exited and punched the victim at least ten times in her face. 

Brown reportedly left the residence and drove to Orlando after committing the battery. 

Brown was released after posting a $5,000 bond.
