North FL Med Center Employee Arrested for Domestic Battery

Antwon Eugene Roberts, 25, was arrested on November 20 and charged with domestic battery by strangulation. 

Roberts’ reportedly pushed the victim to the ground during an argument about his cheating.  

The victim hid in the bathroom, but Roberts broke down the door. Roberts choked the victim unconscious, leaving visible injuries. 

Roberts reportedly “admitted to pushing the victim down to the ground and placing the victim in a tight bear hug while [she] sat in the bathroom.”

Roberts was released after posting a $10,000 bond. 

Roberts’ first appearance order states he has been employed at North Florida Regional Medical Center for two years.

GnvInfo asked North Florida media relations to clarify Roberts’ position at the hospital.

Media Relations Director Victoria Heller responded on November 22 that she has “received [the] inquiry and will be back in touch as soon as possible.”
