Ocala Man Arrested for Domestic Battery in Gainesville

Courtney Lamar Cohen, 43, was arrested on Saturday and charged with domestic battery.

The victim told police Cohen had been drinking all day and told her he wanted to drive her home. Cohen then became aggressive and reportedly called the victim racial slurs and hit her in the face.

Cohen reportedly told police he’d been drinking alcohol the entire day and called the victim a “b***h” but not any racial slurs.

Cohen’s bond is set at $20,000.

Cohen’s arrest report states he's from Ocala.
