Okeechobee Man Arrested for Domestic Battery in Gainesville

Jer’Marcus Demetre Bradley, 31, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with domestic battery.

Bradley reportedly spanked the victim’s child, and the victim told him not to because he wasn’t the father. Bradley and the victim got into an argument, leading to Bradley pushing the victim and her pushing him back.

Bradley told Gainesville Police Department (GPD) Officer Joshua Harmon that “he did not touch the victim and that she and her children were lying.” Bradley claimed the victim “punched him in the chest” and advised he “may have brushed past the victim but did not push the victim with his hands.”

Bradley’s first appearance order states he resides in Okeechobee.

Bradley was released on a $10,000 bond. He’s been ordered to not possess any weapons and to not contact the victim or her family.
