Over Eight Grams of Fentanyl Seized From Drug Trafficking Organization 'Billy Blood'

On September 1st, the Gainesville Police Department announced that the Drug Department Taskforce and the 8th Judicial Circuit Violent Crime and Narcotics Taskforce seized $54,000 worth of controlled substances, along with $40,000 in U.S currency in a series of eight search warrants with seven being residences in Gainesville and Alachua County, with the one other being in Lake City. Following a five-month-long investigation, 8.1 grams of fentanyl, a half kilogram of cocaine, one kilogram of substituted cathinone, 17.2 pounds of cannabis, various prescription medications, and 12 guns were taken hold of by law enforcement.
The news release mentions the drug trafficking organization is known as the “Billy Blood” and that several arrest warrants have been issued for its members. Abraham Thomas was arrested on August 25. His bond is set at $885,000.

Alphonso Brown was arrested on September 5. His bond is set at $610,000.
Brandon Anderson has not been taken into custody as of this writing. His bond is set at $800,000.
Leneiall Sapp has not been taken into custody as of this writing. His bond is set at $150,000.
