Press Release: Veterans for Peace Offering Advertising Opportunities at Annual Winter Solstice Celebration

For the last 37 years, the local chapter of Veterans for Peace has organized a “peace concert” in conjunction with the onset of winter and this year’s celebration falls right on the Winter Solstice – December 21st, which is a Saturday. As in years past, the event will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship and is expected to draw a crowd of just over 300 people. The event features performances by local musicians, poetry readings, and art exhibits.

Attendees are all provided an 85+ page, full-color program, which showcases the lyrics from the performances, poems from area students, and editorial pieces written by Veterans for Peace members. For as little as $35, area businesses and individuals alike can advertise in said program.
