Logan Allen Staar, 30, was booked into the Alachua County Jail last week on charges of domestic and felony battery.

Three weeks ago, Staar was convicted of writing a threat to do bodily harm in Indian River County Court and sentenced to three years of probation. Staar was subsequently transported to the Alachua County Jail on a warrant for charges that were filed by the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office over a year ago.

On November 26, 2023, Staar and the victim visited Gainesville to see the University of Florida vs Florida State University football game.

After the game, Staar and the victim stayed at the Motel 6, where an argument transpired.

The victim told deputies that Staar slapped her in the face, causing her to run away. Staar then pushed the victim to the floor. The victim fell into the bed frame and felt a sharp pain in her right shoulder.

The following day, the victim sought medical attention in Kissimmee and discovered she had a broken collarbone. The victim had to get surgery a month after the injury.

Staar has an Instagram account where he promotes his rap music. Ironically, the post pinned to the top of his page shows him at a mock courtroom for a rap music video where he sings, “I’m a crook, I’m a con, I’m a felon, my bro.”
